After many photo trips to East Africa practicing film photography, it was the first time that I returned to the African continent equipped with digital cameras.

First a bush camp in the essential Masai Mara to photograph the "Big Five" then a few days spent on the shores of Lake Nakuru to observe waterfowl, white and black rhinos and many other species..

THE BIG FIVE :

In Africa, the Big Five game animals are the lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo . The term was coined by big-game hunters, and refers to the five most difficult animals in Africa to hunt on foot, but is now also widely used by safari tour operators.
